Style & Colour Trophy 2017
2017 was an extraordinary year for Milk San Sebastián, highlighted by our victories in the Bilbao regional final and the Madrid national final of the L’Oréal Professionnel Style & Colour Trophy.
On October 3, 2017, we represented Spain in the international final held in Seville, which brought together more than 1,500 hairdressing professionals from 63 countries. The first prize in this edition went to Alexey Nagorsky from the Brush salon in Russia.
The Seville Conference and Exhibition Centre, also known as Fibes, was the venue chosen for the 2017 L’Oréal Professionnel Business Forum and the Style & Colour Trophy.
More than 1,500 professionals from around the world witnessed a major hairdressing competition live, as well as an update on trends, techniques, and products.
The Style & Colour Trophy The Colour Trophy was streamed live to over 26,000 people via Facebook. Incidentally, it’s the oldest hairdressing competition, its origins dating back to an event held in Great Britain in 1954 to promote the work and creativity of hairdressers.
This year, the jury consisted of four internationally renowned experts: Dylan Bradshaw, Mark Melief (artistic director of Kinki Kappers), Cameron Pine (editor of InStyle magazine), and Cecile Piel-Benson (Global Education Director for the Professional Products Division).
After winning the regional final in Bilbao and the national final in Madrid, the winners of the 2017 Style & Colour Trophy were:
